An Emirates Airlines Airbus A330-200 was performing flight (EK901) from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Amman (Jordan) with 237 passengers on board. Aircraft was enroute about 1 hour into the flight when the first officer became ill and promted the captain to turn around and return for a safe landing in Dubai about 150 minutes after departure. After successful landing, the first officer was taken to a local hospital.
The flight was reestablished. Airbus took off again about 1 hour later and reached Amman with a total delay of 4 hours.
