Delta Air Lines will serve new daily flights from Nagoya (Japan) to Honolulu on December 22, 2010. The flights will be operated with Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 216 seats - 35 Business seats and 181 seats for Economy class. Currently Delta Airlines operates flights from Nagoya to Detroit, Manila, Saipan and Guam.
The airline also has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requesting permission to start new nonstop service between Tokyo and the Pacific island of Palau. The proposed flights would operate 4 times weekly beginning in December, 2010. It would be the only scheduled nonstop service between Japan and Palau.
